Welcome - ITI Library Tutorial |
Now that you are studying Information Technology and Informatics,we want to make sure that you are able to capitalize on all the rich information resources that the university library offers. Through this tutorial we hope that you will gain a sufficient training and knowledge base that will help your research and study at SCILS. Please review the following pages carefully and familiarize yourself with its content and navigational paths. Follow as many hyperlinks as you can during the session. You can revisit this site afterward. We will also allow you time to work on your own research topics during the library session. Your instructor will help you define/frame your research. The librarian will help you identify and navigate the digital and print (if necessary) information resources. Although this guide uses information technology examples for illustrative purposes, it can be used for any aspect of ITI research. Consult the Library and Information Science Resources guide for additional topics. Whenever you need help, please do not hesitate to contact me, your librarian in the Alexander Library - Myoung C. Wilson. Content Written by: Myoung Wilson and Catherine Smith Evaluation Survey: Ron Jantz Special Thanks: Mira Foster (for her efforts with the COM 201 site, for which this site is an adaptation)
